Gerald M. Lemole, M.D.
Gerald M. Lemole, M.D., has been chief of cardiovascular surgery at the Christiana Care Health Services of Delaware since 1986. He was formerly chief of cardiac surgery at Temple University in Philadelphia and the Deborah Heart & Lung Center in Brown Mills, New Jersey. Dr. Lemole serves on the Health Policy Development Committee of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He is a professor of surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Medical College and clinical assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. A past recipient of the American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award, he has written numerous articles for professional publications and has lectured extensively. Dr. Lemole has been prominently featured in "Delaware Today" and Philidelphia magazine's "Best Doctor" issues.
